Kudos-but I know what you mean about "pencil" being even considered: (it's my first love)- seems like it's seen as a lesser relation way too often. On a related note, I took a second ("Award of Excellence") for an oil at a show that opened this weekend; first was a most excellent pencil (graphite) drawing, and that pleased me so!
