About My Drawings:
Drawing is all about detail. A single drawing of this size can take 50 to 100 hours from start to finish.
Each original drawing...is rendered on cream toned 100% acid free art paper. I use a combination of carbon, charcoal, and graphite in each piece as the subject requires, for depicting depth and texture.
With the exception of some of my commissioned pieces, most of my original drawings range in size between 6x6 and 12x18. I try to produce 8 to 10 new pieces each year.
Limited Edition and Open Edition Prints:
To make my drawings available to more people, I offer both Limited and Open Edition prints. These are printed on a slightly textured cream toned acid free paper using the Giclee printing process.
About My Watercolors:
I find that watercolors take less time than my drawings but make up for it in difficulty.
Watercolor has always been a challenge. It's a struggle between the two of us to see who is going to be in control. Sometimes I win and sometimes the watercolor wins.
As with my drawings, my watercolors are attentive to detail and composition. Preferring close cropped subjects and interesting angles of observation...bringing attention to the familiar.
I use only the finest paper and paint to create the finished watercolors seen in "My Little Paint Box" collection.
I currently do not offer prints of my Watercolors. ...perhaps in the future.

FAQ's
Open and Limited Editions...what is the difference?
Open Editions...are not numbered or limited in the amount available for pu8rchase.
Limited Editions are printed just once. If I decide to release a print in an edition of 300 prints, I will typically have 315 printed. Of these 300 are reserved for the main edition and the remainder are used to replace damaged prints. Any remaining after the edition is sold out are destroyed. These are full sized reproductions, signed and numbered by the artist and presented in a 3" cream toned double mat, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
What are Certificates of Authenticity?
These certificates are issued with every Original Drawing and Limited Edition Print, and are personally signed by me, Marsha Robinett. They provide proof that the art is authentic. They are also proof of ownership, and should be kept in a safe place...never attached to the back of the frame.
