Echo Nadine, 13, is always miss personality. Grandma wanted to capture her sparkle. She said that Echo was the life of the party, a free spirit, and a people pleaser, a great communicator, and affectionate and generous with everyone.
The photo reference for Echo's portrait was cropped from a larger image...leaving very little detail for the facial features. Grandma had to go back and take more close up photos of the eyes and mouth. The drawing was otherwise fairly straight forward. In the lighter areas of the face I used graphite because it gives the skin a softer appearance.
