Elsie Mae, age 4, was a bubbly "Belle" in costume at her birthday party...full of energy and pizzazz. Grandma said that Elsie loves to talk and to ask the question "Why"...that she was smart, strong, fearless and often unpredictable. Grandma said that "Elsie can run like the wind when others would stroll."
This was one of the first portraits that I did in this group. I just loved the reference photo. I believe you can feel the energy and pizzazz...two words that Grandma used to describe Elsie. The eyes had a twinkle and her face was full of exuberance. This portrait was a joy to do.
